About

Frank Hennekens

I step into organisations that have stalled or face their next step. Together with management and employees I strengthen strategy and culture – and renew them where needed. I hand over something measurably stronger: in revenue, margin or a successful exit.

Frank Hennekens

I hold an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven and an MBA. My career started in defence technology, continued at Ericsson and Sony Ericsson, and for the past ten years has been about leading IT consulting companies through growth, change and changes of ownership.

Experience still matters. Tools change, but what decides whether a change succeeds rarely does: understanding the business, bringing people along and seeing the execution through until it holds. I have done that for more than 30 years – and it is what I bring to every assignment.

I am originally from the Netherlands and live in Malmö. I take assignments across the Nordics and Europe, especially where several cultures and languages meet.

Octavarium is my own company. It is one person: the one you hire is the one who does the work.

What I stand for

Say what I do, do what I say

I promise what I can keep, and I follow up on what I have promised.

Strategy and execution

A strategy is only as good as its execution. I stay until the result shows.

I don’t give up

Change takes longer than the plan. I keep going until it holds.

Empathy

Change is made by people. I take care of those in the middle of it, not only the numbers.
