How I handle your personal data

Data controller

Octavarium, a sole trader business run by Frank Hennekens, Malmö, Sweden, is the controller of your personal data. Contact details are at the bottom of this page.

What I collect

When you use the contact form or email me, I receive the details you provide: your name, email address and, if you include them, company, phone number and your message.

Why, and on what legal basis

I use the data only to answer your enquiry and, if we start working together, to administer the assignment. The legal basis is your consent when you submit the form and my legitimate interest in being able to answer enquiries. The data is never sold and is not used for marketing.

How long I keep it

Messages are kept in my email for as long as needed to handle the matter, and for no more than 24 months if no assignment follows. Data that forms part of accounting records is kept for seven years, as required by Swedish accounting law.

Who receives the data

The website is hosted by STRATO (web hosting within the EU). Form messages are sent to me by email. These suppliers process the data on my behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies for visitors and uses no analytics or tracking. Fonts are served from this server, not from Google. If you log in to the site administration, cookies necessary for the login are set.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction or erasure of your data, to object to the processing and to withdraw your consent. Contact me by email. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
